SF Beer Week Highlights

The Bay Area is well-known for its stellar beer scene. From crafter breweries to maltsters and beyond, the region has gained a reputation for high-quality, creative flavors. Eager to learn more about the local beer scene? San Francisco Beer Week is your ticket to the very best of the Bay Area's brews. Scott Safadi of Shared Palate, LLC recommends checking out these exciting events:

IPA lovers will delight in this fifth annual competition for the very best local IPA pour. Blind flights allow you to sit in the judge's seat to sip and savor a variety of West Coast flavors. Get in on the fun Saturday, February 15 at Richmond Republic Draught House. Hazy IPA lovers will appreciate a similar competition at the same venue on February 14!

Head to Cleophus Quealy Beer Company on February 16 for a delicious pairing of homemade chilaquiles and micheladas. Not familiar with the drink? The cerveza preparada is made from beer, lime juice, tomato juice, spices, and sauces. They're a fantastic representative of the blending of cultures the Bay Area is known for!

The Sycamore is one of the very best beer bars the Mission has to offer, so it makes sense to end the week there. Starting promptly at 10 AM, beer lovers can sip on all the best pours of the week. If you missed any of the 10-day festival's events or tastings, this is the place to play catch up.
